China Watch Wednesday: Iran Negotiations, CCP Proxies, and the Urgent Case for Mass Deportation

Kathleen Winn opens the show reflecting on the rapid pace of events between Wednesdays, praising President Trump’s handling of the Iran crisis as a potential turning point that positions him as one of the greatest leaders in history. She notes the extreme rhetoric and measures were necessary given the regime’s willingness to use civilians as human shields around target sites while claiming universal domestic support.

Ava Chen on Iran’s Negotiations, Regime Change, and the CCP’s Proxy Strategy in the Middle East

Ava Chen congratulates the current administration for creating an environment conducive to regime change that benefits the Iranian people themselves. She explains that the United States has applied maximum pressure while leaving the door open for a new, democratic-leaning government open to business and Western engagement. “The regime change ultimately should benefit the host country, which in this case, Iranians.”

Chen highlights the economic prize at stake with the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as one of the world’s critical choke points. Iran could generate hundreds of billions annually simply by charging reasonable tolls on the 20 million barrels of oil passing daily, plus fees on shipping traffic. “If peace is secured and the Iranian people take over from the IRGC thuggish regime, do you know how rich they can be?” She contrasts this with the current regime’s dependence on the CCP, which provides discounted oil purchases, dark fleet shipping, banking channels, and military assistance. “The CCP is not helping Iran. They are helping the Ayatollah and the IRGC.”

She details documented CCP support for Iran’s missile program, including precursor chemicals for fuel, drone assembly lines, chip-making facilities near the Pakistan border, and satellite guidance during strikes. Reports confirm ships carrying Chinese chemicals for missile fuel recently arrived in Iran. Chen emphasizes the invisible war occurring behind closed doors: one side (the U.S.) supporting the Iranian people and a friendlier government, the other (the CCP) desperate to keep the current terrorist regime in power to maintain control over the strait under Chinese conditions. “You have to use Chinese yuan. You have to use digital yuan to go through the passage.”

Chen warns that the CCP views Iran as a shield and proxy to drag the United States into prolonged conflict while it prepares moves elsewhere, including Taiwan. She points to Xi Jinping’s recent meetings with Putin at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and an upcoming visit from Taiwan’s opposition Kuomintang leader, who publicly stated that working with the CCP is the only peaceful path forward. “Xi Jinping lined up friends before meeting Trump. He is going to lay the cards on the table. I’m going to move into Taiwan.”

She stresses the need for the emerging Iranian leadership to stand firm, reject the CCP, and prioritize national interests over the personal enrichment of a few families. Chen urges viewers to separate the Iranian people from their regime, noting over 48,000 protesters were brutally slaughtered earlier this year. She references the recent documentary “The BB File” on Netanyahu’s long tenure and broader questions of power concentration in any government, drawing parallels to the CCP’s dictatorship under Xi Jinping.

The F-15 Rescue Mission and the Stark Contrast in Values Between America and the CCP

Both Winn and Chen reflect on the miraculous F-15E rescue operation over the Easter weekend. The pilot and weapons systems officer were recovered through an extraordinary multi-branch effort involving hundreds of personnel and dozens of aircraft. Chen notes that the CCP blocked all information about the rescue inside China because it directly contradicts their ideology. “In CCP’s dictionaries, there’s no such thing. They will let people die… People are tools. They’re deplorables.” She contrasts this with America’s willingness to expend billions in assets and risk lives to save two service members, calling it a living demonstration of the value placed on human life. “That is actually a slap in the face to this evil regime.”

Winn adds that the timing—from Good Friday to Easter Sunday—and the pilot’s first message, “God is good,” carried profound symbolism. The family immediately recognized the voice because of the pilot’s faith. “God’s hand was in all of it.”

Neal Cornett on the Mass Deportation Coalition, the True Scale of Illegal Immigration, and Restoring National Sovereignty

Neal Cornett joins to discuss the Mass Deportation Coalition’s playbook and the urgent need for systematic, large-scale removal of illegal immigrants. He challenges official estimates, citing Pew’s 14 million figure from 2023 as far too low. He references 2006 discussions of nearly 12 million and Yale’s 2018 research suggesting closer to 22 million—before Biden-era border policies added untold millions more. “We’re probably well beyond 20 million… 30, maybe 40 million illegals in this country.”

Cornett outlines the staggering impacts: one in five Americans under age five do not speak English at home, and another 25 million people in the country speak English poorly or not at all—more than the combined populations of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, and New Mexico. He warns of unassimilated populations, higher insurance premiums, crowded emergency rooms, strained schools, and compromised election integrity. In Pima County, non-English speakers are appearing at DMVs to obtain driver’s licenses and simultaneously register to vote.

He addresses birthright citizenship, noting the Supreme Court case currently before the justices and amicus briefs from 19 labor unions supporting it. Cornett argues America is more than an idea; it requires assimilation, language, and civic participation. He calls for a whole-of-government approach, including federal funding cuts to sanctuary jurisdictions that refuse to cooperate with ICE. “If you’re not going to work with us, we’re not going to give you any more federal funding.”

Cornett highlights successful state-level models, such as Governor DeSantis in Florida and efforts in Memphis, Tennessee. He advocates taxing remittances—estimated at $80–200 billion annually leaving the U.S.—as one practical tool states can use. Oklahoma has had such a tax since 2008. He urges listeners to visit MassDeportationCoalition.org, read the playbook, and join as partners or supporters. “We need the support of the American people on this.”

Cornett emphasizes that the current scale threatens the very existence of a sovereign, self-governing nation under the Constitution. He notes the direct connection between unchecked illegal immigration, election vulnerabilities, and the massive grift flowing through NGOs and sanctuary policies. “If that isn’t done, then it’s time to just go ahead and write off this whole experiment in the greatest country that’s ever existed.”
