The Battle for Arizona’s Water: Litigation, Not Emotion
Arizona's history is defined by the struggle for water. We are a state with two vast deserts, sustained only by careful management of this critical resource. Today, that sustainability is threatened not just by nature, but by political failure at the highest levels of our state government.
Governor Katie Hobbs, whose primary governing platform seems to be saying "no" to the legislature through endless vetoes, is now calling a special session. This is an attempt to fix the debacle regarding the Upper and Lower Colorado River Basins, where Arizona is not receiving the water it is legally owed. This crisis is the direct result of a lack of leadership and a failure to advocate for Arizona’s interests against encroaching neighbors.
Fighting this requires strategic legal action, not emotional outbursts. Due to the compact established 104 years ago to protect Arizona, the state has strong standing. The most effective path forward is likely suing the federal government to enforce that agreement and ensure we get what we deserve. We cannot afford for Katie Hobbs to hand off a manufactured crisis to Andy Biggs, who we hope will be the new governor.
Dave Smith, a retired law enforcement officer and keen observer of Arizona history, notes that this would not be the first time Arizona has had to fight aggressively for its water share.

Along the Colorado River, our governor sent our National Guard to seize the river from California because, once again, they were greedily taking our water. While we aren't sending the National Guard today, the principle remains: Arizona must stand up for itself. The bureaucracy at the federal level is notoriously inefficient, regardless of who is in the White House. When the government takes over any function, operational efficiency suffers. Arizona must prepare for litigation while accelerating efforts to develop new in-state water supplies to ensure our future security.
Breaking the Radical Grip on Arizona’s Future
The political landscape in Arizona has shifted from traditional policy debates to a defense against a radical, totalitarian mindset. We are facing an opposition party that advocates for ideologies that clash directly with American values and freedoms.
The current Arizona Attorney General behaves as a pacifist leftist, seemingly ignoring state statutes that prohibit any party advocating for the overthrow of the United States. We see and hear advocates for socialism using violence, and as Republicans, we must become more inspired to fight back. Freedom is difficult; it has obligations and requirements, and too many are willing to surrender their futures, and the futures of their grandchildren, for immediate comfort.

This battle extends into our education system. We are witnessing an attempt to destroy the next generation’s freedoms through indoctrination in schools, convincing children to hate their parents, their country, and their God. The radical left has spent millions trying to destroy parental rights and the ability to educate children at home. We must break this tension, pass the SAVE Act, and restore faith in our electoral process to effect change.
Pima County: A Complex Ballot and a Referendum on Liberty
The upcoming 2026 ballot in Pima County is daunting, resembling a "calculus quiz" rather than a standard election document. It will feature eight statewide ballot propositions, city propositions for Tucson and Oro Valley, and multiple school board races.
In Pima County, despite a Democrat majority, many rank-and-file Democrats are unhappy with the radical direction of their party. This creates a massive opportunity for Republicans and Independents. The only poll that matters is Election Day. With a statewide Republican advantage of over 400,000 votes, victory is a matter of turnout.
The standard Democratic reflex is to lie and obfuscate, particularly with ballot language designed to create negative reactions toward conservative measures. We see this in the push for radical abortion laws, effectively making Arizona a ninth-month abortion state, while ignoring the dangers of unregulated abortion pills flooding the state.
The immediate need is a unified front.

Voters must engage with the entire ballot, not just the top races. We cannot surrender down-ballot positions, like school boards or local offices, to the opposition. Every race matters when fighting for the future of the Republic.
Holding the Line Against Federal Weaponization
The federal government, under the Biden administration, actively weaponized the Department of Justice against parents who stood up for their children against disastrous COVID policies, Critical Race Theory, and radical transgender ideology. This was a deliberate attempt to suppress, demoralize, and disengage parents from the heart of the country.
Parents across the country were mistreated by law enforcement, arrested for speaking at school board meetings, and demonized for wanting to protect their children from experimental policies and age-inappropriate content. COVID-19 was used as a social experiment to see how far the government could control the population. While the virus posed no significant risk to healthy children, the government-imposed policies caused immeasurable harm, leading to academic decline and, tragically, suicide for many youth.
Kelly Walker, a parent advocate with Advocate for Parents and Freedom Talk Magazine, has tirelessly fought for accountability for these abuses.

Walker’s case against the DOJ has been accepted by Peter Tickton’s law firm, representing a major step toward achieving justice and restitution for families targeted by federal lawfare. We cannot simply "move on" when the government has attempted to destroy futures and silence opposition.
Esteban Flores: Fighting for the Forgotten in LD21
Legislative District 21, spanning Pima, Santa Cruz, and Cochise counties, has suffered under years of representation that prioritizes radical ideology over the well-being of its constituents. It remains one of the poorest districts in the state, with the second-highest unemployment rate and a high rate of crime and poverty.
Esteban Flores, running for State Senate in LD21, is challenging this entrenched leadership. His motivation is deeply personal, rooted in his experiences in the medical field during the COVID era and his time as a youth pastor.

Flores is challenging incumbent Rosanna Galbarone, whose voting record reflects extreme far-left priorities. She has blocked efforts to label cartels and child sex traffickers as domestic terrorists and has opposed school choice liberties like ESAs. Flores argues that a voting record is a reflection of a politician’s beliefs, not the district they claim to represent.
Defending the Republic requires a ground-up effort. Republicans have not held a seat in LD21 for over ten years, but the tide is turning. Flores’s previous run for school board proved that there is a remnant of voters—including Democrats and Independents—hungry for change. The key is turnout. If conservatives in the district show up, they can stop the slide toward radical, California-style policies that suppress parental authority and destroy the economy.
